After 3 years of looking for a good Mexican restaurant my husband and I finally stumbled upon this place . The food is absolutely wonderful , flavorful , fresh and authentic . I am originally from Vegas so I'm very picky when it comes to considering a place good since I've had a lot of experience eating the best Mexican food .
The service is great , fast , I am very satisfied with my experience and will be returning regularly . -

I stopped by for dinner after a day at the beach. I figured I would receive quicker service since the restaurant is located away from the main strip and the more popular restaurants. I was wrong. There was only one waitress doing it all. After a 15-20 minute wait my order was taken. From then on service became better. The waitress had too many tables at once and was also having to cash them all out at the front. The food was average and in my opinion overpriced for the quality. I'm sure I'm a little biased due to me eating Mexican food all of the time in Texas. Overall I would recommend going elsewhere, or try to stop in during the early afternoon hours when hopefully there is more than one waitress working.

I was really surprised at how good the food was! It was pretty authentic and the prices were reasonable. My favorite thing was the Mexican rice. It reminded me of the rice we used to eat at a restaurant my dad used to take us to. My next favorite thing was the guacamole! It wasn't doused in cilantro or onions! It was fresh and delicious! The fountain drinks were weak but they redeemed themselves by having Mexican Coke! Coke in a bottle is always a treat! Don't pass up this little place or underestimate it. My fam and I said we will be returning when we are in the area again.

You say you like a "Hole in The Wall" place?? Here you go, it is a hole in the wall that prepares traditional style Mexican food just for you. Today I tried the traditional guacamole for the first time.... It's great!!
I love the fish tacos and the kids get chicken strips that are fresh and crispy. I'm not sure how they do it, but the chicken is amazing!!
Great casual place with cold drinks for the whole family.
I say other reviews that are so old, but I've got to say, I have been coming here for 9 years and the waitress is the wife of the cook and they are the owners. I have a hard time believing any of their food is frozen. But I will say, if that reviewer knew that, they own a competitive establishment that since has changed owners several times.
I always get the fish tacos!! -

GOOD: chips and salsa were tasty. Tortilla were very good. Modelo Beer very cold with iced mug. $7.99 beef or chicken Fajitas on Monday but No happy hour on Monday because of special.
BAD: only 1 person in entire dining room so hard to punish her with comments or bad tip.
OUT OF GUACAMOLE? Never heard of that in a Mexican restaurant, especially when they first open.
Beef on fajitas OK.
Chicken for Fajitas: a few pieces were CHEWY. Almost like a piece of Cartilage.
Too many veggies in place of meat on Fajitas.
Rice was dry and most likely leftover and reheated.
